The Conservatory
All artwork depicting the Conservatory setting receives the +20AP and +5GP Conservatory bonus as usual, with the chance to earn extra event bonuses by taking part in the event quest and event prompts.
All esk have an innate ability to access the Conservatory, and the way your esk enters it is up to your interpretation. The journey to the Conservatory is not a physical one — they cannot bring guests or physical objects from Earth; everything created in the Conservatory is manifested magically from their dreams and intentions. There is a restorative energy here that allows all esk to retain their nature features, magical abilities, familiars, and accessories despite being away from their biomes.
The Conservatory itself is an expanding crystalline structure. It can resemble the walls of a greenhouse, a building made of glass, geometric architecture, or it can be more unusual like sheets of ice, a crystal cave, shattered windows, and magical thresholds. Beyond these walls it's surrounded by empty space that can be manipulated by the esk inside. They can make it look like the sky on Earth, a view of outer space, or filled with colors and magic auras.
Within the Conservatory, laws of nature and physics do not apply: whilst mimicking the Earths biomes, it should also appear surreal and magical such as including magic effects or artifacts in the landscape, depicting objects that are related to the esk lore such as statues of esk or references to the Wanderers, or by including crystals and treasures in their surroundings. As long as you have elements in the background that would seem out of place in a normal Earthly location it will help establish that the scene is taking place in the Conservatory, and therefore qualify for the Conservatory bonus.

QUEST: Soulsong
The Soulsong quest begins in the Conservatory, where your esk has felt compelled to enter The Temple of Sound or The Temple of Silence. The path they take through that Temple is up to you.
Requirements:
- Art entries must be full body, colored, and shaded.
- Art entries must have a vignette background or full background.
- Literature entries must be at minimum 800 words.
- As this is a character exploration and development quest, it should feature only one esk going through the quest. Introduction entries may feature your esk splitting off from others, but your esk will be alone as they enter deep into the Temples to complete the prompts. They may reunite with others as the event concludes.
- Only your first submission for each prompt in each Temple will earn the prompt prizes and quest bonus. You may play through each of the temples multiple times with different esk, but will only earn the prizes and quest bonus for the first set of each temple. The Conservatory bonus and treasures can still be earned on additional play-throughs even after the event deadline.
- See the Rules and Checklist page for more details about this quest's requirements.
Each Soulsong entry will receive the normal +20AP and +5GP Conservatory bonus. There is no quest bonus, but you can use an optional temple challenge per prompt for a bonus of +10AP and +5GP, or an optional color palette or word palette per prompt for a bonus of +5AP and +2GP. You can read more about the temple challenges here, or the Temple of Sound & Temple of Silence atriums for their palettes.
