Unique Traits

Some traits that would normally be mutations can be obtained for normal esk.
Unique traits are available for esks on a limited basis and can only be obtained by performing a Transformation, by special, limited-time-only distribution during events, or through morphs requirements. Unique traits normally require a mutation to obtain but when they are made available they can be applied to any esk even if they are not an Abnormal. Certain morphs require unique traits to consider themselves a morph - such as the grasslands morph requiring ox-tail, and the aquatic morph requiring whiskers.

For information on unique traits received from transformations,  please click here

The list of unique traits is always growing! New traits will be made available as the game progresses.

Event traits
These unique traits are only available during events for a limited-time-only, outside of morph requirements where applicable.

Whiskers
Whiskers can be in any amount or style and may resemble a mammal, fish, or dragon.
Availability: During the Fresh Waters Event and pop up shops.
Ox-tail
Ox-tails are partially sleek tails with a tuft of fur at the end like a lion or giraffe tail. The sleek part of the tail must be long enough to be visible.
Here are some examples of acceptable variations.

Quills
Quills can appear anywhere on the body and must resemble a porcupine, quillfish, or hedgehog quills in structure. The colors must match what exists on the esk already, or be banded in white and black, similar to a porcupine quill. Quills can stand up or relax with the esks mood.
Availability: During the Firestorm Event
and pop up shops.
Wintercoat
This form alteration will allow you to add a winter coat to your esk character. This grants esk the ability to shift between their normal form and a form with longer/thicker fur. Coloration is not affected. Foot tufts are not included.
Availability: During the Shattered Peaks Event and pop up shops.

Antennae

Add up to two antennae to your esk. The antennae need to resemble those of real existing insects in order to be eligible.
Availability: During the Autumn Lights event and pop up shops.

This form alteration allows you to add bioluminescence to one existing nature feature on your esk. Bioluminescence causes the nature feature to glow.
Availability: During the Autumn Lights event and pop up shops.
Retractable Claws

Availability: During the Natura Humana event and pop up shops.
